Was skeptical becoz of mixed reviews. I guess i was lucky both podi dosa and butter dosa's are good. Chutney and sambar are decent as well. Size of the dosa match with the price so you want to order more if you are hungry

If you're Indian, and craving a taste of home, Rameshwaram is the place to be. What stood out to me during our visit was the warm and inclusive atmosphere, where different tables engaged with one another effortlessly. Indian prayer music filled the background, adding to the at-home ambiance. I couldn't help but notice a heartwarming scene: a baby at one table eliciting smiles and sparking conversations across the room. As for the service, it seems they're in the midst of refining their approach, debating between ordering upfront and seating oneself or relying on waitstaff! Regardless, what truly impressed me was the reverence shown to elders. When I dined with my father, they graciously attended to him, checking on us regularly. Moreover, I noticed Rameshwaram's attempt at eco-friendliness. From bamboo spoons to plates, they're making strides. Taking it a step further: changing the plastic straws and cups to biodegradable alternatives would be wonderful. The restaurant layout is quite practical. A sink in the back allows patrons to wash their hands, and upon finishing their meal, diners are encouraged to clear their trays in the trash and stack them after eating. It's a straightforward and efficient system, making the dining experience pleasant.

We ordered masala dosa, idly vada and coffee. The taste of food was very good. Good efforts to resemble Bangalore style taste especially the sambar and chutneys. We also felt like pocket friendly and calories conscious. Customer service could have been better for eg: water not served at the table, spoons are not provided to the table. Overall good quality food!

Such yummy food! Totally in love with the Bangalore style dosa. It is thicker and yummier, crispier on the outside but mouthful. Never tried the lemon idly before. Great flavors with lemon and the tempering on idli. The coconut chutney was unique with a hint of mint and perfectly spicy. Mini tiffin combo was great pick where we could try a little bit of everything. Sambar didn't stand out much. Karabath, Pongal and Kesari were all good! Filter coffee to finish it all Definitely coming back to try more on the menu! Despite the crowds, the service was great and relatively quick.

Bangalore style dosas are having a moment right now in the south bay - and they rightly should be! I visited Rameshwaram cafe for dinner and it was super crowded. It's new, they're still figuring out how to manage the crowd and it shows. I hope they are able to streamline their process soon. We waited for around 15 minutes to get a table for 2. The food was worth the wait. Karnataka style sambar and chutneys (especially the coconut chutney) were the standouts. Dosa was good but not the perfect Bangalore style benne dosa. Really enjoyed the lemon idly and dip sambar idly. Vadas were a bit a dense - I've had better.
